Opens in London in September 2007
Did you know that 8% of British women own more than 100 pairs of shoes? And that – according to ebay researchers – 7.5m shoes are languishing unworn in our wardrobes?
Elaine Avila – awarded with the “New Works for Young Women” Award in 2006-2007 – investigates the phenomenon from the point of view of consumption while at the same time exposing the golden rules behind selling dream-shoes, and uncovering the fascinating stories which may hide in their heels.
Until we see Pippa and Roxanne on stage, come visit us at We Love Shoes!
Funny sketches and interviews about our secret shoes related obsessions, and a place to discuss and confess all you want about shoes.
Or go to Propeller TV to know more about our short movie 'ShoeTime!' broadcast on SKY CHANNEL 195.
"Ladies and gentlemen, it's
ShoeTime!"

Tanagra Guitar Quartet
Olivier, Yves, Laurent, and Benoit make up this modern French quartet, who have been playing together for over a decade. Their close collaboration and rehearsal ethos have resulted in outstanding interpretations of the modern Latin American music in which they have specialised. There is a very special alchemy that arises in a group that play together in this way, which has drawn rapturous applause from the audience, critics and from contemporary composers alike:
‘if there are
angels in Paradise, they must be playing the guitar’
– La Charente Libre
‘Bravo for this Rythmaginaires I am re-discovering
after all these years.
This is very well thought, conceived and realised.’
– Roland Dyens
